After the reported missing RPC1174 Cessna 206 aircraft, the families of passengers cried for help in finding 6 missing persons including the pilot.
In an interview on DZRH Operation Tulong with Mae Binauhan, Julie Ann Manaday, the mother of RJ Manaday, 14, shared that their family was supposed to visit Maconacon, Isabela for his father-in-law's wake.
"Nagpunta po kami rito kasi patay po 'yung father ng husband ko. Nung dumating kami sa Cauayan, 5-seaters lang po ng plane ang pwedeng isakay. Umalis po kami ron ng mga 1:50, 20 minutes lang po ang byahe namin," she said.
She also recalled her last conversation with her son after taking off.
"Tapos tumawag po ulit ako sa anak ko na babalik yung plane, susunduin sila. Nung mga 2:10 tumawag ako sa kanya, sabi niya 'Mommy paalis na po kami'," she shared.
However, the plane did not arrive at 3:00 pm which made them worried considering the heavy storm in the area.
"Alas tres na po wala pa sila, nag-alala po ako kasi po sobrang lakas na ng ulan at hangin. Hanggang sa ngayon po wala pa po kaming update ulit."
Manaday asked people around the to immediately report signs of the missing aircraft and left a message to the relative passengers.
"Kung sino man po sana ang nakakita ng kinaroroonan nila, sana naman ibigay alam naman po samin. sa kapatid ko, sa pamangkin ko, kay RJ, na kung nasaan man kayo ngayon contactin niyo naman kami."
Meanwhile, in another interview on DZRH Damdaming Bayan with Deo Macalma and Elaine Apit, the mother of two passengers Mark Eiron, 20, and Xam Siguerra, 10, Ana Mae Kamadoy, also shared her last conversation with sons.
"Nagvideo pa po yung anak ko nung nandon sila sa airport. Okay naman sila, nagvideo pa sila na nandon sila sa taas ng airplane eh, after no'n, hindi ko na sila na-contact."
She suddenly received a call saying the Cessna plane did not arrive at Maconacon.
"I received a phone call at 5pm, they told me that they never arrived at Maconacon. Until now, wala pa po kaming balita sa search and rescue team.
Kamatoy also asked for prayers and help from people.
"Nananawagan po ako sa lahat [ng] prayers for my family. And kung sino man po ang nakakita sa eroplano na sinasakyan ng family ko, maaari po sanang ipaabot sa lahat ng mga rescue team,” she added.
