The expected volume of passengers to arrive at the BFCT Terminal in Marikina City this Holy Week has already peaked during the weekends, the terminal dispatchers said.
In contrast to the influx of passengers in other terminals around Metro Manila on Holy Wednesday, April 16, the report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa on Monday, April 14, stated that the said terminal in Marikina had already reached its peak.
From April 12 to 13, passengers flocked to the terminal to get to their respective provinces for the graduation ceremony on April 15. Dispatchers also confirmed the situation during the weekends, stating that passengers mentioned traveling earlier than the expected date because of it.
The landport at Eastern National Capital Region (NCR) has routes going to Davao, Samar Island, and Panay Island.
As of 10:38 AM, RH 52 Edniel Parrosa reported that only a few passengers arrived at the terminal, going to the City of Tagum in Davao.
Meanwhile, the report clarified that passengers may still reserve their tickets at the terminal if they have yet to travel home.
