

Former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, cardiologist Willie Ong, and former Vice President Leonor 'Leni' Robredo emerged as Filipinos' Senatorial bets for the upcoming 2025 midterm election, according to the survey from PUBLiCUS Asia, Inc.
In a press release, PUBLiCUS Asia Inc. said the results of the non-commission survey Pahayag 2023 - Second Quarter (PQ2) survey showed that Duterte led the survey after acquiring 51 percent votes.
Ong and Anti-Crime and Terrorism Community Involvement and Support (ACT-CIS) party-list Rep. Erwin Tulfo secured the second and third spots, respectively, after garnering 44 percent votes each.
Trailing them are Senators Christopher ‘Bong’ Go and Senator Imee Marcos, with 39 percent of votes each.
Other former and present government officials who got in the Magic 12 are as follows:
- Former Manila Mayor Francisco 'Isko Moreno' Domagoso - 36 percent
- Former Senate President Tito Sotto - 36 percent
- Senator Ronald 'Bato' Dela Rosa - 35 percent
- Senator Panfilo 'Ping' Lacson - 35 percent
- Defense Secretary Gilbert 'Gibo' Teodoro - 31 percent
- Former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque - 25 percent
Former campaign partners, former Vice President Maria Leonor ‘Leni’ Robredo and Former Senator Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan also got in the Magic 12 with 28 percent and 25 percent, respectively.
The Pahayag 2023 PQ2 was conducted from June 7 to June 12.
A total of 1,500 registered Filipino voters from the National Capital Region (NCR), North Central Luzon, South Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao were randomly surveyed.
