Senator Imee Marcos said on Monday that former First Lady Imelda Marcos has yet to decide about her attendance at President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA) after her doctor advised against it.

In an ambush interview prior to the Senate session opening, the senator said Imelda wanted to attend, but the physician did not allow her as there would be many people.

When asked if Mrs. Marcos will watch the SONA virtually, Senator Marcos said that maybe her mother will decide in the last two minutes.

It was last May when the senator revealed that Imelda had undergone angioplasty.
