ACT-CIS Partylist Representative Erwin Tulfo and former Senate President Vicente "Tito" Sotto III have emerged at the top of the latest Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey for potential senatorial candidates.
Conducted from January 17-20, the survey was commissioned by the advisory and research consultancy firm Stratbase.
According to SWS, other candidates who are among the 12 possible winners in the upcoming Senate race include:
- Senator Lito Lapid
- Senator Bong Go
- Former Senator Panfilo Lacson
- Broadcaster Ben Tulfo
- Senator Pia Cayetano
- Former Senator Manny Pacquiao
- Makati City Mayor Abby Binay
- Senator Bato dela Rosa
- Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla
- TV Host Willie Revillame
- Former Senator Kiko Pangilinan
Senator Imee Marcos also appeared on the list, though her inclusion is attributed to the margin of error.
SWS conducted the survey through face-to-face interviews with 1,800 registered voters nationwide. The poll carries a margin of error of ± 3.21%.
The list of candidates in the survey was based on the initial ballot template released by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), according to SWS.
