Eric Nam “Dela Cruz”? He will love the Philippines even more!

In his fifth time visiting the Philippines, American-South Korean singer Eric Nam tried trendy Filipino foods and learned some of the Pinoy slang with Korean YouTube vlogger Jessica Lee.

In her vlog, Lee prepared a few Pinoy slangs for Nam to guess, such as “lods/lodi,” “awit,” “omsim/mismo,” and “skl/share ko lang.”

With the guessing game, it was revealed that Nam can speak Spanish – which is why he can pronounce some of the Filipino words correctly.

After guessing and learning some of the Pinoy slang, Nam also tried trendy and unusual Filipino food which is not the usual, as the food was modernized and underwent fusion.

The 34-year-old singer also tried Pinoy pandesal, sisig sa-wrap, pork sinigang, baked adobo belly, sinangag, and Bicol express pasta.

After tasting some trendy Pinoy foods, Nam picked adobo and sisig as his top favorite.

Nam was in the Philippines for his show in Market! Market! Taguig last August 5. He is set to release his third album “House on a Hill” in September.
