Apart from the concert, the band will re-release a remastered edition of its albums as part of its 25th anniversary.
The albums to be re-released are “Ultraelectromagneticpop!”, “Circus”, “Cutterpillow”, “Fruitcake”, and “Sticker Happy.
Earlier, the rendition of two Esareheads’ classic songs as sung by two Original Pilipino Music (OPM) groups SB19 and Nobita was released.
The SB19 revamped “Christmas Party”, incorporating elements of dan-pop, R&B/hip hop, and modern funk. While the audience’s favorite “Magasin” was revamped by Nobita, they infused jazz-pop into it.
The two groups’ versions are now available on all streaming platforms.
The historic “Huling El Bimbo” concert took place at the SMDC Festival Grounds in Parañaque City with over 75,000 attendees.
