A former professional basketball player, Rudy Enterina Jr., passed away after getting run over by a prime mover while riding a motorcycle at the South Road Properties in Cebu on the morning of April 29th.&nbsp;
The accident occurred at around 9:15 a.m. when Enterina lost control of his motorcycle while passing an uneven part of the road.&nbsp;
He was thrown off the motorcycle and was subsequently run over by a prime mover driven by Jinghis Generale Tan, 59.&nbsp;
Tan was taken into police custody and could be charged with reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.

Enterina was a former player in the Philippine Basketball Association and played for University of the Visayas during his college years.&nbsp;
He was drafted sixth overall by Purefoods during the 1991 PBA Draft and also played for the Cebu Gems in the now-defunct Metropolitan Basketball Association.
