As of 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Tropical Storm "Enteng" re-intensified over the waters of Ilocos Norte, according to PAGASA.
The weather bureau reported that Enteng's eye was located 100 km west-northwest of Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, moving westward at 25 km/h.
The storm has maximum sustained winds of 85 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 105 km/h.
Meanwhile, the following Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals (TCWS) are in effect:
TCWS No. 2 is raised in major parts of Luzon, including:
- The western portion of Ilocos Norte: Badoc, Pinili, Currimao, Laoag City, Paoay, Bacarra, Pasuquin, San Nicolas, City of Batac, Burgos
- The northern portion of Ilocos Sur: Sinait, Cabugao, San Juan, Magsingal, Santo Domingo, San Ildefonso, San Vicente, Santa Catalina, City of Vigan, Bantay, Santa, Caoayan
TTCWS No. 1 is raised in:
- The rest of Ilocos Norte
- The rest of Ilocos Sur
- The northern portion of La Union: Luna, Santol, San Juan, Bagulin, Bangar, San Gabriel, Bacnotan, Sudipen, Balaoan, City of San Fernando
- Apayao, Kalinga, Abra
- The western portion of Mountain Province: Besao, Tadian, Sagada, Bauko, Sadanga, Bontoc, Sabangan
- The northern portion of Benguet: Mankayan, Kapangan, Kibungan, Bakun, Buguias
- The western section of Cagayan: Tuao, Rizal, Abulug, Pamplona, Sanchez-Mira, Claveria, Santa Praxedes, including Fuga and Dalupiri Islands
PAGASA warns that forecasted rainfall will generally be higher in elevated or mountainous areas. Under these conditions, flooding and rain-induced landslides are expected, particularly in areas identified as highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards on official hazard maps, and in localities that have received significant rainfall over the past several days.
Furthermore, the enhanced Southwest Monsoon will bring moderate to intense rainfall to other areas of Luzon, especially along the western portions, over the next three days.
