Filipino actor Enrique Gil dispelled breakup rumors regarding his relationship with actress Liza Soberano, stating that they were just busy.
When ABS-CBN's Gretchen Fullido asked the couple's relationship status, Gil said they were happy.
"Yeah, yeah we're happy. We're just really busy," the 31-year-old actor said.
"I think we just realized na in life we should always be just centered around each other," he added.
Gil also underscored the value of growing in their respective paths, adding that this could lead them to achieve more.
"We can grow more during our own paths and we can achieve more. It just makes us better," he said.
Gil is currently promoting his upcoming film “I Am Not Big Bird," which is set to hit Philippine theaters on February 14. This marked the actor's comeback to the silver screen after three years
Meanwhile, Soberano is in the United States promoting her upcoming film "Lisa Frankenstein" which will premiere on February 9.
