

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. has appointed businesswoman Katrina Gloria Ponce Enrile as the administrator and chief executive officer (CEO) of Cagayan Economic Zone Authority (CEZA), Malacañang announced on Wednesday.
According to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO), the said post is a cabinet rank.
Ponce-Enrile is the daughter of Presidential Legal Counsel Juan Ponce Enrile.
Prior to her appointment, she was the President and CEO of Philcomsat Holdings Corp., Jaka Investments Corp., Montemar Resort & Development Corp., Philippine Communications Satellite Corp. Inc., and Philcomsat Management Enterprises, Inc.
Ponce-Enrile finished an undergraduate degree in the University of the Philippines.
In a Facebook post, she expressed gratitude to the President for trusting her in the post.
"Thank you for the trust, President Bongbong Marcos. I am beyond grateful. This is Katrina Ponce Enrile, newly appointed CEZA Administrator/CEO, at your service. #GloryToGod," Ponce-Enrile captioned.
Aside from Ponce Enrile, Marcos also appointed Diana Rose Cajipe as the Undersecretary of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
While Ronnie Ong was named as the acting chairman and board of trustee member of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) - Local Water Utilities Administration.
