Korean-pop boy group ENHYPEN attended their own press conference for BYS Cosmetic's 10th Anniversary celebration today, December 3, at the Marco Polo Hotel Ballroom in Ortigas, Pasig City Philippines, hosted by Sam Oh.
The South Korean boy group consisting of Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, and Ni-ki made their debut in 2020 through a survival show I-LAND under BE:LIFT Lab, a joint label created by HYBE (previously known as BigHit Entertainment)and CJ E&M Entertainment.
At the event, the members sat through questions from the media translated by an interpreter.

In a question about the group's biggest strength, Jungwon said that they get together as a group despite their differences since they came from a survival show.
“Since we are from a reality show, you know the audition program. Because of that, we are different in various ways. The way we sing, the way we do choreographies and our attraction points are also all different, but when we go on stage, we are together and become one, in unit. And I think that's one of our biggest strengths that we had as a group," he said.
According to Jay, staying wherever they are cannot give satisfaction to their fans so they continuously do their best for their fans.
"I think it's the time for us to show different sounds and styles and to keep on trying to explore more," he said.
When asked about the genres they look forward to exploring in the future, they said that they hope to try new genres for their fans.
Moreover, Sunoo told the press that their biggest influence in the music industry is their seniors in Bangtan Sonyeondan or mostly known as BTS.
"I think influence-wise and also performance-wise, I guess our role model for the biggest musical influence that I could say is BTS," he said.
"And of course, we as a group, we're going to exert more effort to have such influence and such performance we can show to the audience," he added.
The group charmingly replied to the query about the development they feel the most, saying that they are still working on improving.
They also said that they are also traveling and getting more handsome which made the media chuckle with their delightful response.
Jake revealed that traveling around the world and meeting their fans are some of the things they enjoy the most as artists.
ENHYPEN also shared their thoughts about visiting Cebu for a vacation with their families.
A few hours after the media conference, the group went to Araneta Coliseum to meet their fans for their first-ever fan meeting in the Philippines.

ENHYPEN is a mix of an en dash and a hyphen that connect different words to create new meanings, which members of ENHYPEN will connect, discover each other, and grow together.
The group made its way to popularity for their hits such as “Blessed-Cursed,” “Polaroid Love," "Future Perfect (Pass the MIC),” Drunk-Dazed,” and many more.
