Actor Elijah Canlas has confirmed that he and actress Miles Ocampo parted ways after two years of being together.
Elijah made the confirmation in an interview with ABS-CBN’s entertainment reporter Ganiel Krishnan, who asked about the real score of their relationship.
“Sadly no, we broke up a couple of months ago. But I’m always gonna have love for her, I’m going to support her for whatever she does,” he said.
“I’m always her number one fan, basically. But right now, we are taking our time, figuring ourselves and our lives right now,” the 23-year-old actor added.
Elijah admitted that he and Miles had “gone through a rough patch” due to the personal matters they carried, adding that it was hard for them.
But he assured that they are “okay” and “not mad at each other or anything like that.”
In May 2022, the “Senior High” actor first publicized his romantic relationship with Miles and said they had been together since 2021.
“Opo, kami na. I mean, she’s the best, I don’t know what to say. Parang sobrang we’re in a good place. We’re very happy,” he confessed in an interview with talent manager and entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz.
“First time ko ata inamin. Ang akin naman, it’s my life, it’s our lives. We don’t have to share everything that we do, kung paano kami nagsimula or whatever. Basta I think the fans and our supporters would also appreciate the fact that we’re happy. We’re really in a good place,” Elijah added.
Elijah and Miles worked together in a 2020 teleserye “Paano ang Pasko?” aired in TV5.
