EDSA rehabilitation begins evening of December 24 — DPWH

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) will begin the rehabilitation of EDSA on Wednesday night, December 24.
According to the DPWH, construction works will start at 11:00 p.m., in line with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to improve road safety for motorists, commuters, and pedestrians.
The agency said 24-hour rehabilitation works will be carried out on selected sections of EDSA from December 24 to 27, 2025.

- December 24–27, 2025: P. Celle Street to Roxas Boulevard (inner lane only)
- December 26–27, 2025: Tramo Flyover to P. Celle Street (inner lane only)
Northbound
- December 24–27, 2025: Roxas Boulevard to Park Avenue (inner lane only)
- December 27, 2025: Park Avenue to Taft Avenue (inner lane)
Asphalt Overlay (Southbound)
- December 25, 2025: EDSA Orense to Urdaneta Village
- December 26, 2025: EDSA Orense to Magallanes Interchange
- December 27, 2025: Tramo to Loring Street (inner lane to outer lane)
The DPWH said it will release an updated schedule of repair works covering December 28, 2025 to January 5, 2026.

Motorists are advised to take alternative routes while rehabilitation works are ongoing.
