Easterlies continue to bring rains to most of the Philippines.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said on Saturday, February 24, that easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms to Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and Samar.
PAGASA warns that the moderate to at times heavy rains may cause flash floods and landslides in the area.
Meanwhile, Batanes and the Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.
The northeast monsoon will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains to the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.
PAGASA added that Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
