Four programs of DZRH, one of the oldest radio stations in the Philippines, are nominated in three categories at prestigious The 45th Catholic Mass Media Award (CMMA).
The CCMA released the roster of the 2023 finalists for Radio on its official Facebook page last Friday, Oct. 13.
Two DZRH programs are vying for the Best News Feature category. Among them is DZRH Stories: Pinoy Documentaries' "Silang mga nagdidildil ng asin".
Also nominated is DZRH Special on Saturday’s “Issues on challenges of the elderly, health, and welfare” hosted by veteran radio broadcaster Cesar Chavez.
DZRH’s Night Life, hosted by Elaine Apit or popularly called “Sister L”, have been picked as finalist for the Best Entertainment Program.
Under the Best Drama Program category, DZRH Drama’s “May Pangako ang Bukas: Bakit kailangan pa akong isilang?” is nominated.
The CCMA said the winners in different categories will be announced soon.
"Stay tuned as we gear up to announce the winners and applaud their outstanding contributions to Catholic Mass Media!" it said.
Founded in 1978, the CCMA is an award-giving body that recognizes the outstanding contributions of mass media, including radio, print, music, television, advertisements, as well as social media.
