DZRH’s seasoned anchor and reporter Mae Binauhan was honored at the 50th Founding Anniversary Gawad Parangal night of Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (PMCC 4th Watch) held in Imus, Cavite on Wednesday, August 23.

Binauhan, the host and "wonder woman" of DZRH Operation Tulong, received the Apostle Arsenio Ferriol Excellence Award for Humanities and Philanthropy.

With an elated heart, the wonder woman of DZRH expressed her gratitude to PMCC.

“Thank you very much PMCC 4th Watch for this Award! It’s a great honor to be recognized,” she said.

“Another inspiration to continue helping our fellow Filipinos!” Binauhan added.

The seasoned host then dedicated the recognition to her DZRH Operation Tulong team who had been her family in the past years.

“Para po sa inyo ang Gawad Parangal na ito!” she remarked.

Aside from DZRH Operation Tulong, Binauhan is the host DZRH's Public Service Hour — program that highlights the power of Bayanihan in providing assistance to people in need, especially during times of crisis.

Before being an anchor, she was a field reporter for several years.
