Vice President Sara Duterte expressed greetings for the Moros on the celebration of Eid’l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice on Monday, June 17.
In a statement, Duterte said that the meaning of sacrifice, gratitude, and humility should be remembered on this day.
She added that it is important to spread the spirit of Eid al-Adha as many need goodwill, charity, and concern.
(Our solidarity in this celebration is a sign of our bond as a nation that is further strengthened by our respect, acceptance, and love for each other despite different words, religions or beliefs.)
(Let's use this opportunity to pray that the Philippines will always be strong, peaceful, and safe from calamities and tragedies.)
