The remaining children of Rhina Maninang, the mother who strangled to death his son in Baacoor, Cavite, have been placed under the custody of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).

Maninang faces parricide charges for allegedly strangling her two-year-old child to death inside their home in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The suspect has been tagged as a user of illegal drugs.

PCol. Christopher Olazo, director of the Cavite Provincial Police Office, said on Friday, July 21, that the investigation showed that the father of the children is also a suspected illegal drug user.
