ABS-CBN's Dreamscape Entertainment head Roldeo "Deo" Endrinal has passed away at the age of 60, his family confirmed on Saturday.

In an Instagram post, his son, PJ, remembered his late father saying that his passing was the "hardest caption" he will ever post.

"This has to be the hardest caption that I will ever post. Thank you daddy for everything, you have been the best father not just to me but to everyone that has known you. We will always remember how fortunate we are that you were in our lives," PJ wrote.

"This will definitely be a hole in my heart and will leave a scar; but I know that you’re finally free from pain and now happily dancing in heaven cause you’ll definitely be the life of the party up there," he added.

Dreamscape Entertainment, ABS-CBN's production units, likewise paid tribute to its leader.

"His visionary leadership, brilliant mind, and dedication to the art of storytelling have left an indelible mark on our organization, as well as on the Philippine Entertainment industry. We mourn the loss of a true and beloved leader, and extend our heartfelt condolences to the family," it wrote.

To mourn the passing of the veteran entertainment executive, Dreamscape changed its profile and cover photos on Facebook to black and white.

Celebrities from different networks also extended their condolences to the bereaved family of Endrinal.

According to ABS-CBN, as Dreamscape head, Endrinal was responsible for hit shows like FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

In his over 30 years in the business, ABS-CBN said Endrinal had also produced iconic shows The Buzz, Game Ka Na Ba?, ASAP, and May Bukas Pa, among others.
