The Philippines' representatives will make their debut on the global K-pop stage, HORI7ON!

Following the finale of the search for the next global pop group, "Dream Maker," a survival show in collaboration with K-pop agency MLD Entertainment and ABS-CBN, seven aspirants have completed the group of Filipino boy band HORI7ON.

During the three-hour live-streamed final episode of the K-pop-style audition program on Sunday, the 16 aspirants showcased their all-out talents to the audience for their final mission.

Before naming the top seven, the 16 dreamers were divided into two teams, Team Dash and Team Deja Vu, to make their final performance.

As the final result came out, only seven contenders made it to their upcoming debuts.

With a total of 3,188,238 votes, Jeromy Batac ranked first, followed by Marcus Cabais with 2,824,716 votes.

Completing the final seven were Kyler Chua, Vinci Malizon, Reyster Yton, Kim Ng, and Winston Pineda.

Meanwhile, additional details about the group, including the concept, debut date, and activities, are yet to be revealed as of this writing, but it was also mentioned that the HORI7ON members will have their promotional activities until March and will move to South Korea for their global debut.

Through a media conference, MLD Entertainment revealed that the group is slated for a June 2023 debut.

In partnership with Korean entertainment agencies MLD Entertainment and Kamp Korea, "Dream Maker" is a survival series that consists of 62 dreamers who will be fighting for their dreams to debut as a global pop group in South Korea.

The concept of the show was inspired by South Korea's well-known survival series for aspiring teenagers who dreamed of becoming a part of a K-pop group, such as "Produce 101," "Produce 48," "Girls Planet," and the current hit survival series "Boys Planet."

MLD, on the other hand, is the home of K-pop acts including Lapillus, TFN, Korean dance group CocaNButter, Narin, and JT&Marcus, which was also the previous agency of the popular girl group Momoland.
