The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has formally turned over a computer and documents from the office of the late former Undersecretary Maria Catalina Cabral in compliance with a Subpoena Duces Tecum issued by the Office of the Ombudsman.
The materials handed over reportedly cover records spanning the past 10 years and are part of the Ombudsman’s ongoing investigation.
The turnover was led by Public Works Undersecretaries Nicasio Conti, Arthur Bisnar, Ricardo Bernabe III, and Charles Calima Jr.
In an online statement, the DPWH said that it will continue to cooperate fully with the authorities and concerned agencies overseeing the investigation, underscoring its commitment to transparency and accountability in government processes.
