The Department of Transportation (DOTr), together with the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), reassured passengers' safety in all their maritime transport operations on Undas or All Souls Day.

According to DOTr, PCG Station Negros Occidental will be its partner in conducting "Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: UNDAS 2023."

On Tuesday, PCG recorded around 50,000 outbound and inbound passengers in harbors from midnight until 6 a.m.

Meanwhile, the PCG inspected 258 ships and over 200 boats to guarantee the safety of ocean trip.
