The Department of Transportation (DOTr) conducted an inspection at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) on Saturday, Dec. 22, as passengers flocked during the holiday rush.
According to RH Christian Maño's report on MBC Network News, the inspection was headed by DOTr Secretary and Chairman Jaime Bautista and Assistant Secretary for Road Transport and Non-Infrastructure/Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation Vice Chairman Jose Tracker Lim.
The DOTr said the inspection, or "Oplan Biyaheng Ayos Pasko 2023 sa NAIA Terminal," was held to assure that proper service would be delivered to the passengers.
Along with Bautista and Lim were Command and Control Operations Chief Charlie Del Rosario, Office for Transportation Security officer-in-charge Admin Jose Briones, and Manila International Airport Authority - AGM for Security and Emergency Service officer-in-charge Manny Gonzales.
