The Department of Justice (DOJ) has declared it will pursue the ‘pedophile’ Disney and Pixar graphic artists’ Filipina accomplices who raped and sexually abused young girls in the country.
The DOJ said two women from the Philippines had been paid to sexually violate five to 10-year-old girls for livestreams the artist Bouhalem Bouchiba watched. He was sentenced in France to 25 years in prison for the crime.
“The government will continue to work diligently with international partners to ensure that offenders are brought to justice and that our children are safeguarded from such crimes,” Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla declared.
DOJ announced that the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking, the Philippine National Police and the National Coordination Center Against Online Sexual Abuse and Expolitation of Children and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials are currently conducting an investigation into the case and intend to indict Bouchiba’s Filipino contacts.
Remulla emphasized the need for a “whole of nation” approach in the fight against human trafficking, which will involve the participation of Non-Governmental Organizations or NGOs, telecommunications companies, and regular citizens.
