On Tuesday, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) warned the public against the deepfake audio that circulated online. It clarified that Marcos did not directed the Armed Forces of the Philippines to launch an attack against China.
PCO along with the Department of Information and Communications Technology and other law enforcement agencies are working to probe the matter.
