The Department of Justice (DOJ) issued an Immigration Lookout Bulletin Order (ILBO) against the seven subpoenaed officials from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) on Wednesday, November 6.
The ILBO was about the request letter of the House Committee on Good Government and Public Accountability Chairperson, Joel Chua last October 17. His letter asked for the issuance of the lookout bulletin against the seven officials who frequently skipped the hearings of the House panel.
The officials have been summoned to the hearing a total of four times, and have repeatedly skipped the said inquiry. Its release would allow authorities to monitor their flight, travel, and whereabouts.
However, the DOJ noted that it is strictly for monitoring purposes only, and cannot prohibit the following people from departing the country:
- Chief-of-Staff Zuleika Lopez;
- Assistant Chief-of-Staff and Bids and Awards Chairperson Lemuel Ortinio;
- Director for Administrative and Financial Services Rosalynne Sanchez;
- Special Disbursing Officer Gina Acosta;
- Chief Accountant Julieta Vailldelry;
- DepEd Special Disbursing Officer Edward Fajarda, now with the OVP; and
- former DepEd Assistant Secretary Sunshine Charry Fajarda
With that, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner is required to disseminate all information regarding the said individuals. Additionally, information on their known aliases, date, and place of birth, known addresses, and copies of their latest travel documents and photos are ordered to be submitted.
All immigration officers are also instructed to be on the lookout for the seven officials, should they pass through immigration counters in any international airports or seaports.
