The Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed on Saturday, June 22, the release of fugitive and expelled Negros Oriental congressman Arnolfo Teves from his house arrest in Timor Leste.

According to DOJ, Timorese Central Authority said that the house arrest of Teves ended at around 7 p.m. (6 p.m. in Manila) on Friday.
