The Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced a P1 million reward for anyone who can provide credible information leading to the location and lawful arrest of Cassandra Li Ong.

“The Department of Justice is formally announcing that it is offering a P1 million reward for credible, actionable information that will directly lead to the lawful discovery, location, and subsequent arrest by authorized law enforcement agents of Cassandra Li Ong, who is presently the subject of ongoing criminal proceedings before the regional trial court of law,” Acting Secretary of Justice Fredderick Vida said during a press briefing on Tuesday, November 25.

Vida further said the DOJ has allocated the necessary funds to ensure that Ong can be held accountable and face trial in court.

Cassandra Li Ong is a businesswoman formerly linked to Lucky South 99 Outsourcing, Inc., a now-defunct Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) located in Porac, Pampanga. The company had been investigated by authorities over alleged criminal activities during its operations.

Officials are urging anyone with information on Ong’s whereabouts to report it immediately.
