The Department of Health (DOH) on Monday, January 29, warned the public against a Facebook page using the department’s name to endorse a brand that contains colostrum.

In an advisory, DOH clarified that “no endorsement has been made by the department and its affiliate organizations.”

It also stressed that “criminal charges may be pressed” when the related posts persisted.

The health agency urged the public to use information from legitimate sources and platforms.

Meanwhile, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) earlier flagged the purchase and consumption of unregistered CLEO’S Garlic Chips and SHAPES BAKESHOP Ugoy Ugoy Sugar Glazed Biscuit.

In an advisory, FDA said the absence of its proper evaluation process lacks the assurance of the food products' quality and safety.
