

The Department of Health (DOH) has recorded 188 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country’s total caseload to 4,170,577.
According to DOH’s latest nationwide cases data, active cases dropped slightly to 5,395, the lowest total cases recorded in almost 12 weeks.
On the other hand, the nation's death toll rose by 10 to 66,525 while overall recoveries rose by 243 cases to 4,098,657.
Still, the highest number of cases were seen in the National Capital Region (NCR), with 786 new cases during the past two weeks.
This was followed by Central Luzon (635), Calabarzon (455), Western Visayas (348), and Ilocos Region (315).
The cities and provinces with the most new cases over the past 14 days were Quezon City (188), Nueva Ecija (150), Iloilo (144), Cavite (132), and Bulacan (127).
