It’s time to bid goodbye to your all-time favorite Disney channels for science, exploration, and adventure on TV after the Walt Disney Company decided to cease its broadcast in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, effective on Sunday, Oct. 1.
Among the channels no longer available are: National Geographic, National Geographic Wild, Baby TV, Star Chinese Movies, and Star Chinese Channel, as stated in an advisory by Sky.
The last transmission date of these channels on Friday, Sept. 30, marked the end of an era.
But these Disney channels are still viewable under subscription to Disney+.
The My Sky advisory also encouraged its viewers to check out the following channels for similar kids, documentaries, and Chinese movies content: ZooMoo, Cartoonito, History, Discovery Channel, animal planet, Love Nature, CGTN Documentary, CCTV 4, and KIX.
