The town of Lopez, Quezon received around Php 130 million worth of projects under the Support to the Barangay Development Program (SBDP)
"Mula nung 2021 hanggang sa kasalukuyan na taon, 16 na proyekto ang natanggap ng aming bayan," Lopez Mayor Rachel Ubana told DZRH on Wednesday, April 12.
"Pitong proyekto ay hindi pa na-download yung funds. Yung iba ay ini-implement na ng aming municipality," Ubana added.
Ubana said that most of these projects involve the completion, the upgrading, and the opening of road in the towns of Lopez.
The local chief executive also said that the SBDP allowed the creation of two water supply systems in the municipality.
Ubana assured that the local government unit of Lopez closely monitors the implementation of the SBDP projects.
"Locally, sa LGU, meron kaming monitoring team na nag-monitor ng ating projects. Ang pinakamahalaga ay yung barangay mismo ang nag-monitor ng ating SBDP projects," Ubana said.
"Bumababa din ako sa mga project natin sa mga barangay para ma-ensure na na-implement on time at tama ang implementation ng ating mga project," she added.
