The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) launched on Friday the e-Gov PH Super App, an online one-stop shop platform where Filipinos can access a variety of national and local government units' (LGUs) services.
President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. and DICT Secretary Ivan Uy led the launching of the application during the kick-off of DICT’s 15th National Information and Communications Technology (ICT) month held at the President’s Hall in Malacañang Palace.
According to DICT, the application can be used in requesting a passport, driver's license, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) clearance, Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Social Security System (SSS), business permits, community tax certifications, and many other documents.
Users can also access e-government priority projects such as job creation, travel, investment, agriculture, and e-commerce.
In the job creation feature, citizens can create their resumes and they can get personalized job recommendations.
Aside from this, a digitized copy of the national identification card (ID) through the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) PhilSys integration as well as a copy of the digitized driver's license through the Land Transporation Office (LTO) can also be generated in the application.
"A unique and tokenized QR Code shall be generated which users can present and agencies, businesses, and establishments easily scan and verify their identity,” the information and communications department said.
Moreover, the application will also showcase several tourism spots in the country.
Outbound and inbound travel declarations and health forms can also be accessed under the feature of the One-Stop Electronic Travel Declaration System.
The e-Gov PH application likewise allows users to locate the nearest Malasakit centers, healthcare facilities, and hospitals.
The latest news and information about the national government as supplied by the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) will also be shown in the application.
The e-Gov PH platform can be downloaded through the Google Play store for Android users and Apple Store for Apple users.
To register, citizens are directed to use their mobile numbers.
