MANILA – Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Secretary Enrique A. Manalo will undertake official visits to Mongolia and the Republic of Korea this August.
In a press release from the DFA, it confirmed that Manalo will be visiting Mongolia from August 4 to 6, 2024, at the invitation of Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh.
The visit is also “part of the activities to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Mongolia, the statement read.
According to the DFA, Secretary Manalo will visit Ullanbaatar and will meet with Minister Battsetseg to convene the fourth Philippines-Mongolia Policy Consultations, “to take stock of bilateral relations, and explore further avenues of cooperation between the two countries."

Manalo is also set to visit the Republic of Korea on August 6 to 9, 2024 to meet with Foreign Minister Cho Tae-yul.
“Both Ministers are scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting to discuss areas of mutual concern such as political, defense, security, economic and development cooperation, as well as people-to-people ties,” DFA stated.
During the visit, both officials are expected to exchange views on regional cooperation and international issues, and to discuss the elevation of the bilateral relations between the two countries, DFA added.
