DFA condemns another Houthi attack at the Red Sea

The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Friday, June 14, condemned another attack of the Houthi rebels on the MV Tutor vessel in the Red Sea last June 12.
In a statement, the DFA said the Philippine government would take all necessary measures to secure the safety of the affected Filipino crews while ensuring justice.
"We call on all UN member states to protect the human rights of seafarers," the DFA said.
"We remain steadfast in ensuring the safety and welfare of all Filipino seafarers worldwide," it furthered.

The DFA is yet to confirm the number of Filipino sailors on board the vessel.
