Authorities have reminded devotees who will participate in the Traslacion 2026 to prioritize safety and strictly follow the guidelines set by organizers and security forces.
According to a report on Magandang Umaga Pilipinas by RH Boy Gonzales, the public is advised to refrain from bringing prohibited items during the procession and to cooperate fully with authorities. Among the items not allowed during the procession are flammable materials, fragile and sharp objects, alcoholic beverages, firearms and other deadly weapons, as well as firecrackers.
Devotees are also encouraged to follow instructions from police officers and other security personnel deployed along the route.
Officials further urged participants to bring only essential belongings, stay properly hydrated, and immediately report to authorities if they experience discomfort or notice any suspicious situations.
The reminders aim to ensure order, safety, and the smooth flow of the Traslacion, one of the country’s largest religious gatherings, as millions of devotees are expected to attend.
