Illumination dropped on Monday, January 29, the official trailer of “Despicable Me 4,” marking the animated film franchise’s comeback after seven years.

The two-minute trailer follows a new chapter in Gru and Lucy’s life as their girls—Margo, Edith, and Agnes—welcome an addition to the family: Gru Jr. who is hellbent on tormenting his father.

But the animated film is not without its villains with the latest film welcoming new enemies in the form of Maxime Le Mal (Emmy winner Will Ferrell) and his girlfriend Valentina (Emmy nominee Sofia Vergara), prompting the entire family to go on the run.

Returning as the iconic voices of the animated film’s characters are Steve Carrell, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Cosgrove, Dana Gaier, Madison Polan, Pierre Coffin, and Steve Coogan.

Joining new voices Ferrell and Vergara are Joey King, Stephen Colbert, and Chloe Fineman.

“Despicable Me 4” is set to premiere in theaters on July 3.
