The Department of Education (DepEd) has issued a show cause order to the teacher who went viral for scolding her students in a harsh manner via TikTok Live.
DepEd Assistant Secretary Francis Bringas said the show cause order has already been served to the public school teacher based in Metro Manila earlier today, Monday, March 18.
He added that the order will give the teacher a chance to explain herself.
In the said viral video, the teacher can be heard berating and talking down to her students.
"Nakakalimutan nyo yung ano nyo ha, yung boundaries nyo, nakakalimutan nyo yung boundaries nyo," the teacher, whose identity was not disclosed to the media, can be heard saying.
The teacher continued by saying they are not being paid just to become “robots” and to be ridiculed in front of the class.
"Ang kakapal ng mga mukha nyo!" she said.
"Hindi na nga kayo matalino eh, ang sama pa ng ugali nyo. Wala kayong mararating," the teacher continued.
As of writing, the video is still making rounds on social media.
