Eligible employees of the Department of Education (DepEd) will receive a one-time PHP 15,000 Service Recognition Incentive which will be distributed until January 6, 2023.

In a memorandum dated December 19, DepEd said the incentive shall be given to the qualified employees through cash.

Signed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Dec. 16, Administrative Order No. 1 authorized the grant of Service Recognition Incentive to employees in the executive department at a uniform rate not exceeding PHP 20,000.
