On Saturday, Senator Ronald "Bato" Dela Rosa urged the newly appointed Bureau of Corrections Director General Gregorio Catapang Jr. to look after its employees as some may have assisted prisoners in committing crimes.
Dela Rosa underlined that personnels inside the Bilibid have a significant role in both preventing and promoting crimes.
He continued by stating that Catapang may only be less stressed now that several drug lords had died.
President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr. officially appointed Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) officer-in-charge Gregorio Catapang Jr. as the BuCor Director General on Thursday, March 23.
