

UPDATED | A private helicopter crashed in Upper Barak, Quisao at approximately 7:27 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, authorities reported.
According to the updated information from Mayor John Masinsin, 2 individuals was confirmed dead, while three others sustained injuries. Two of the injured are Malaysian nationals.
Prior to the updated number of casualties, Masinsin said two were critically injured and have been rushed to a nearby hospital, while the other two suffered minor injuries and are reported to be in stable condition.
Records from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines indicate that the helicopter was en route to Quezon when the incident occurred. Fortunately, no residents were affected, as the crash site is located about 50 meters away from nearby homes.
Authorities from the Pililla local government unit and the Rizal Provincial Police Office are currently conducting an investigation in the said crash.
