Former Senator Leila de Lima on Monday, Nov. 13 left a message for former President Rodrigo Duterte, saying that may the Lord "forgive" and "bless" him after his wrong accusation that led to her arrest.
"God forgive him and God bless him. Ayun muna ngayon, marami pa akong pwedeng sabihin sa kanya, pero huwag muna," she told reporters during a press conference following her release from the Philippine National Police custodial facility in Camp Crame.

"I don’t want to be political-sounding tonight, because this is a moment of joy. This a triumphant moment. As much as possible, I want to be gracious. God forgive him and God bless him," de Lima continued.
The former Senator presumed that Duterte "knows what he did" to her.
De Lima said she and her team will be discussing the legal actions to take next.
"Hindi po madali, napakahirap at masakit na makulong ka nang walang kasalanan. In the matter of justice, those need to be accountable, should be held accountable," she underlined.
In 2017, de Lima was jailed over the charges linked to the drug-trafficking scandal in the New Bilibid Prison.
The former Justice Secretary was known as a staunch critic of Duterte's bloody war against drugs and the Davao Death Squad.
