The Philippines' positivity rate has decreased to 7.4% as of June 29, according to OCTA Research.&nbsp; &nbsp;
Dr. Guido David, a Fellow from the OCTA Research Group, shared the update on Twitter, highlighting a 1.5-point decline compared to the previous week's <a href="https://twitter.com/iamguidodavid/status/1671893021821112320" target="_blank" rel="noopener">8.9%.</a>

According to the latest data from the Department of Health (DOH), the country reported 503 new infections, bringing the total number of cases to 4,164,360, with 7,896 active cases.&nbsp;
Among these, 131 cases were reported in the National Capital Region, and projections estimate 300 to 400 new cases on June 30.
On a positive note, there were 384 new recoveries, increasing the total number of recoveries to 4,089,980.&nbsp;
