A police officer got injured after a gunfight near a cemetery in Parañaque City on Wednesday, November 1.
According to the report of Noche Cacas in MBC Network News, the policeman victim was identified as Police Cpl Roselito Delayun, assigned to the San Dionisio Police Substation, who was shot in the right leg by a bullet from his own gun.
Based on the CCTV footage taken at the scene of the incident, Delayun and his fellow policeman, Police Cpl Adrian Manatad were stationed in the area when two men approached them and unexpectedly grabbed Delayun's gun.
Before grabbing the gun, the suspect and his friend were seen arguing near the policemen.
The suspect was identified as Luigi Mora Ganuza, alias Toto Negro, a resident of Brgy. Moonwalk, San Dionisio.
Ganuza was arrested in a follow-up operation.
He will be charged with two counts of frustrated murder, physical injury, and direct assault.
