The Philippine National Police - Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) apprehended a police officer and a dismissed cop over their involvement in an alleged raid of a house owned by a former professor in Imus, Cavite.

PBGen. Warren De Leon, director of PNP-IMEG, identified the arrested suspects as dismissed PCpl. Jenerald Cadiang, and PSMSgt. Daisy Diones, who is currently assigned at the Cavite Provincial Police Office.

Police apprehended the two based on an arrest warrant issued by a court in Imus, Cavite with a recommended bail amounting to Php 120,000 each.

Authorities currently conduct a manhunt for the other police officers involved in the alleged raid, which went viral after a closed circuit television (CCTV) footage of the said operation spread in social media.

The CCTV footage showed the involved cops, wearing civilian clothes, carrying away various items, and cash from the residence of Rebecca Caoile, 67-years old.

PNP dismissed Cadiang, and six other police officers for their involvement in the alleged raid last October

PCol. Jean Fajardo, spokesperson of the PNP, said that Cadiang and his cohorts did not have a search warrant nor an arrest warrant in order to conduct the operation last August.
