The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has released the official calendar of activities for the November 2, 2026, Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE), outlining critical deadlines for voters and aspiring candidates.

According to COMELEC, the filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) is scheduled from September 28 to October 5, 2026, while the official campaign period will run from October 22 to October 31, 2026. Campaigning remains prohibited outside this window, including during the filing period and on election day.

Voter registration nationwide, except in BARMM, is set from October 20, 2025, to May 18, 2026, while registration in BARMM will take place from May 1 to 18, 2026. The election period, which includes the implementation of the gun ban, will run from October 3 to November 9, 2026.

Election Day is fixed on November 2, 2026, with voting hours from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., during which the liquor ban and campaigning prohibitions will be strictly enforced. Candidates are also reminded that the deadline for filing their Statement of Contributions and Expenditures (SOCE) is December 2, 2026.
