The order prohibits carrying firearms, deadly weapons, and explosives outside one’s residence without proper authorization.
Police Brig. Gen. Jaysen De Guzman, PRO-BAR regional director, warned that anyone found violating the law will be held accountable. He also appealed to motorists and the public for understanding, noting that checkpoints may cause traffic delays.
This year’s polls mark the first-ever Bangsamoro Parliamentary Election since the ratification of the Bangsamoro Organic Law in 2019. The historic election will now decide a new set of leaders for the region, taking this as a first step toward peace and democracy.
