Colourette founder and content creator Nina Ellaine Dizon has proudly shared photos of her graduation after finally getting her diploma for completing a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Marketing Management at the Lyceum of the Philippines University.
Being known as a college dropout who established well-known beauty brands like Colourette and Fresh Formula, Dizon has finally felt fulfillment after achieving one of the goals she persistently wants to attain in life: finishing her education.
In her Instagram post, Dizon said that despite the success of her brands, she was not really proud of the dropout part, as she believes and understands the value of learning and ongoing innovation.
“People would often label me an inspiration—a college dropout who went on to establish renowned brands like Colourette and Fresh Formula. What they couldn’t see was that I wasn’t proud of the dropout label,” she wrote in her caption.
“Despite the success of my brands, completing my education was a persistent goal in mind, as I deeply understood the value of learning and ongoing innovation,” she continued.

Now, she has finally made it to earning the degree that she was aiming for, in addition to the success of the brands that she owns.
Dizon started dreaming of putting up her own makeup brand made for Filipinos, considering factors such as the daily lifestyle and budget of every Filipino, as well as the country’s humid, tropical weather and, of course, the specific range of skin tones.
With the determination to turn her dreams into reality, Colourette was established in 2015.
Colourette, as everyone is already aware of its advocacy of being inclusive and diverse, is continuously proving its name in the beauty market.
The brand continuously provides different makeup products that cater to the daily needs of everyday Filipinas.
