Several classes scheduled for Thursday, August 3, have been cancelled due to the rains brought on by the strengthened Southwest Monsoon.

Among the areas that have cancelled classes are:

• Malabon City - all levels, public and private
• Manila - all levels, public and private
• Navotas - all levels, public and private
• Caloocan - all levels, public and private
• Baguio City - pre-school to high school, public and private
• Lingayen, Pangasinan - all levels, public and private, and government offices
• Dagupan City - all levels, public and private, and government offices
